Augsburg College has had a literary journal since 1929; however, it was always published under different names. The journal was named Murphy Square in 1975 and it is still currently Augsburg College’s only literary and visual arts journal. Submissions are solicited from the entire Augsburg community late in the fall and published in a professional-quality journal during the spring semester.
Murphy Square is a commissioned student organization, entirely led and run by Augsburg students.
The board of editors has weekly meetings; however, the time and place for the following academic year remains to be determined.
