Only about 22 percent of American adults engage in regular, sustained physical activity for at least 30 minutes five times a week, and only 15 percent exercise both regularly and vigorously.

ONGOING PROGRAMS

In addition to the Wellness initiatives, faculty and staff may take advantage of several opportunities for fitness and spiritual renewal on campus:

Yoga and Tai Chi classes - Starting September 18, 2007!
Yoga: Every Tuesday and Thursday from 12:00 - 1:00 in the Marshall Room.
Tai Chi: Every Tuesday from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. in the Century Room.

Yoga and Tai Chi will not be offered during school breaks and finals week.

Get Fit Twin Cities is a fun, team-based, health and fitness challenge designed to jump start healthy habits that will help adults feel better, look better and live longer, healthier lives.
