Only about 22 percent of American adults engage in regular, sustained physical activity for at least 30 minutes five times a week, and only 15 percent exercise both regularly and vigorously.


AUGSBURG FITNESS INCENTIVE PROGRAM

We care about your total well being and invite you to become a part of this program!

Incentives
50 points: monogramed water bottle or monogramed towel (while supplies last)
100 points (includes 1st 50): Fitness/Wellness Hooded Sweatshirt or golf umbrella (while supplies last)

How You Can Earn Points
You will get 1 point for each exercise session you do for at least 30 minutes or for doing a minimum of 10,000 steps in a day. You will not get extra points for longer workouts or more steps nor will you be able to earn more than 1 point per day. You can start recording exercise points on the first day of classes (Wed 9/05/07) through the last day of classes (Fri 4/25/08) This gives each of us 230 days of opportunity to earn our points.

How To Report Points
You are to keep track of your own points. When you reach the 50 point mark, send an e-mail to:
fitness@augsburg.edu

Do the same thing when you reach the 100 point mark. Be sure and send your e-mail in a timely fashion after you have earned your points. You may get a workout card to help keep track of points from Joyce Pfaff x 1247 or e-mail fitness@augsburg.edu
