Anne Sullivan School has been our partner school for the first year of operations. Sullivan, located at 28th Street and 31st Ave. South, is a K-8 program in the Minneapolis system with approximately 200 students in the middle school grades (6 – 8). Recruiting new sixth grade students for 2008/09 to join our returning team will begin in mid-September.

SquashScholars worked closely with the Beacons Program at Sullivan, directed by Bryan Schachtele. A key element of the Beacons support was providing a staff member to accompany our students to the University and participate in the program. Andrew Angle, and later Monica McDaniel performed this role with great enthusiasm.
