Travel Seminars in Social Work
The MSW program at Augsburg intentionally seeks to increase awareness of all types of diversity. As such, short-term travel seminars are availalbe to Augsburg MSW students through the Center for Global Education (CGE). Such travel seminar sites exist throughout the world and trips are often coordinated based on faculty availability.
Short-term travel seminars are 10 days in length, but do not usually count towards course credit. If course credit is desired, the travel seminar needs to be approved by the MSW curriculum committee. Feel free to discuss travel seminar options with MSW Director, Lois Bosch, at 612-330-1633 or bosch@augsburg.edu.
