Loaner Laptops

Students can check out laptops in the Lindell Library. See this Library page for more information.

There is no longer a group of laptops available for checkout to faculty and staff. Because Augsburg now leases computer equipment we are essentially paying for the time the computers are being used. To maximize the College's investment in this equipment, the LFCs worked with faculty and staff who needed laptops for their jobs to get them switched from a desktop computer to a laptop computer. This was done based on analysis of checkout data.

Because situations do arise, such as conferences or visiting speakers, we ask that you contact your LFC in advance of the event to request a laptop. Your LFC will then work to find one that is available. The shorter the notice given the less likely we will be able to find one that is available.
