1.     It has reinforced my ideas and beliefs on education and society.

2.     I would like for us to be a presenter at NECCA in 2003.

Jennifer Otto

1.     Love the wonderful learning opportunities! More positive outlook on using technology. when peers (fellow teachers) are not using it with their students. I have been able to help others with knowledge and use tech. To benefit the students I work with daily. Learning more about Marco Polo, Alpo Smart, and TIES conference (web searches) are aiding my students.

2.     A) How to do a small, limited webquest for students. B) teach us (give us) a tool for keeping grade book on computer. C) How to teach students computer use in a systematic way.

 

Jackie Heyda

1.     Bring a ÒTechnology AdvocateÓ has made me more aware of the technology out there. I have had the chance to travel and meet many people.

2.     PT3 Web Page, Palm Pilots, Use kidspiration and other education software

1.     I have had the wonderful opportunity to attend 2 workshops, learn more about the world of technology and meet new people.

2.     Maybe we could look at some programs/software schools are using in their classrooms.

1.     I have had the opportunity to see how technology is used in schools.

Deanne Sorensen

1.     It has changed my opinion on computers making students less social in the classroom. I have seen at conferences and in the schools how students can work together with tech. I have gained already so much info my list would be too long for this card. But changing my attitude toward tech. In the school is by far the most important thing I have gotten out of this program. I now understand its importance in the schools.

2.     I would like to work on programs such as powerpoint, hyper studio. IÕd also like to learn how to make a web page and have my teaching ideas available to others and a page for the parents in my classroom to see what is going on.

 

 

Shalinda Sherrod

1.     This program gave me the opportunity to enhance my skills/knowledge in technology. I am no longer afraid of technology. I will continue to get involved and use technology so I can be a teacher who knows how to integrate technology into my classroom and lesson plans.

2.     I would like to know more about how technology is being used in the classroom. Some hands on experiences so I will not be intimidated once I am a teacher. I want to know what is out there.

 

 

LaRoyce Engebretson

1.     I was able to do my first powerpoint presentation this semester. I have also scanned pictures in and downloaded to presentation.

2.     Planning and record keeping (using excel or other). How to quickly download pictures (Health) quickly.

 

 

Kim Larson

2.The tech project has increased my awareness of technology, which has in turn pushed me to ask questions and try to understand how technology works, rather than just using my every day applications and taking the science for granted. I have also consciously looked at different uses and applications of tech Ð not only by way of class/grant instruction but also every day in the business world to think about how the tech might be applied in an instructional way. The project has benefited me through practical instruction and through creative thinking Ð a lot of which I will likely benefit from for years to come.

 

3.I would like to see some hands on workshops Ð in which we are given a lesson plan and then assigned to come up with a way in which tech could be integrated in that lesson. The ideas cold be brainstormed and presented during that meeting Ð or assigned and presented the following meeting. I am looking for some concrete Ð and unique examples of using tech.
